The Dublin VA Health Care System is recruiting for a Physician - Chief Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) Pathologist. The Chief P&LMS Pathologist is an integral member of the medical staff. The incumbent responsible for providing pathology services.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing gross and microscopic examination of surgical specimen.
- Providing cytological examination of body fluids.
- Obtaining consultation on difficult or unusual cases.
- Obtaining concurrence review on malignancy diagnoses.
- Providing consultation on clinical pathology and transfusion medicine to medical, nursing and laboratory staff.
- Serving as a chairperson for blood usage review committee and ancillary testing committee.
- Issuing surgical and pathology reports in a timely manner.
- Providing continuing education to laboratory staff.
- Coordinates with contracting or referral services (i.e. autopsy/cytology) and ensues reports are issued in a timely manner.
- Serves as the Medical Director for Warner Robins Air Force Base medical laboratory.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
