Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Major Duties/Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Provides oversight of multiple medical (non-surgical) sub-specialties, inpatient consultations and outpatient clinics.
- Leads a team of multidisciplinary physicians and procedures in providing exceptional care to patients.
- Works in collaboration with Chief of Staff team to identify areas of opportunity and initiate changes for improvement.
- Ensures successful recruiting/retention of positions, makes physician salary recommendations, and conducts Focused and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE/OPPE) on privileged staff.
- Functions as the direct line supervisor for the Section Chiefs aligned to Specialty Care.
- Participates in organizational planning to include strategic, operational, programmatic and other plans and policies to achieve the mission and vision of the Medical Center
- The service chief will have experience with residents'/physicians', labor mapping, productivity, managing clinic access, grid and consult management.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, or per discretion of direct supervisor.
