Major duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform history and physical examinations, diagnose, prepare treatment plans and manage patients with complex illnesses of the otorhinolaryngology system
- Admit to inpatient care, including consultation, and management of inpatients
- Performance of general otolaryngology procedures including but not limited to tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, nasal and laryngeal endoscopy, otologic microscopy, and microlaryngoscopy
- Performance of nasal and sinus procedures including but not limited to septal and turbinate surgery, endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery, endoscopic image guided sinus surgery, excision of intranasal masses, excision of intranasal sinus polyps, and the Caldwell Luc procedure
- Performance of oral cavity surgery, including but not limited to sialolithotomy, anterior 1/3 tongue surgery, posterior 1/3 tongue surgery, palatal surgery, nasopharyngeal surgery, oropharyngeal surgery
- Performance of neck surgery, including but not limited to laryngeal procedures (excluding total laryngectomy), thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, congenital neck masses, parotidectomy with and without facial nerve preservation, submandibular gland excision

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
(Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
